Rumor: Details On Playstation 4.5 ‘Neo’ Revealed

It was always a possibility, and rumors have been flying around for some time, but now it seems that a new, more powerful Playstation 4 is in development.

“There is no doubt – this is real. This is the new, more powerful PlayStation 4.”

An article by Eurogamer claims that documentation given, has effectively set in stone the fact that a new, more powerful Playstation – code-named Neo – is due at some point.

This would be the first time that a mid-generation console has beefed specs when it comes to actual performance.

There have also been some blabbings of PSVR’s external processing box being integrated into the new PlayStation. There’s no indication that this is true, based on the documentation available to us.
