Artist Sergio Odeith is in charge of bringing The Walking Dead Mural to life.
Tony Moore, The Walking Dead co-creator and artist, born in Cynthiana and Writer and co-creator Robert Kirkman was raised in Richmond Kentucky nearby. It took six days and seventy cans of paint to complete the Walking Dead Mural, which is a tribute to the huge success of the TV show, based on the original comic book series by Kirkman.
“I kind of used the color of the background for some of the details which helped a lot,” said artist Sergio Odeith, who has created other murals of the type around the world and even previously in Cynthiana. “Since the beginning that I started painting I took pictures with maybe 200 people,” he says.
