A Pokemon GO player from Riverton, Wyoming, in her quest to catch ’em all, stumbled onto something quite extraordinary in her daily stroll.
Shayla Wiggins, 19, was in for a scare while playing the newly released augmented reality game by Niantic Labs.
Wiggins told local news station KTVQ in an interview –
“I was walking towards the bridge along the shore when I saw something in the water. I had to take a second look and I realized it was a body. It was pretty shocking,” Shayla said. “I didn’t really know what to do at first. But I called 911 right away and they came really quickly.”
Detectives told Shayla that they thought the body had been there for less than 24 hours.
Shayla was a bit shaken up after the incident.
“I was pretty scared and cried for a while,” she said.
I hope none of you trainers out there experience anything like this, but the nature of the game is bound to produce the odd story every once in a while.
