Nintendo of America announces relaunch of its iconic NES with the NES Classic Edition.
Many of our readers (including yours truly) obviously have fond childhood memories of a certain Nintendo Entertainment System, aka NES. We are all in luck of having some retro gaming fun, as Nintendo announced the NES Classic Edition this morning, Thursday, on the Nintendo of America Twitter page –

The mini console, as pictured above, will come pre-loaded with 30 games. You’ll find classics like Zelda, Pacman, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros. 1-3 and Final Fantasy, among many others on the console (no Pokemon). The full list of pre-loaded games can be found here.
The console itself will support Wii U controllers as well as special retro controllers to be introduced closer to launch.
The NES Classic Edition will be available on November 11, 2016. No price has been quoted as of writing.
