Police Launch Investigation As Disneyland Worker Found Dead In Haunted House

A 45 year old worker was found dead at one of the park’s attractions. Police have launched an investigation to further understand what happened.

Following the death of a 45 year old father, who has been working at the park for 14 years, the Phantom Manor attraction has been closed to the public pending ongoing investigation into the matter.

Initial examination shows that “accidental death by electrocution” may have been the cause of the incident at the Phantom Manor.

Colleagues who found the worker’s body were also interviewed by officers on Sunday, and statements were taken.

A spokesman for the theme park meanwhile said management was “deeply saddened” by the man’s death, and sent commiserations to his “family and relatives”.

This isn’t the first time an employee finds his death at the amusement park. In 2010, a 53 year old cleaner got trapped to death under a boat in the ‘It’s A Small World’ ride.
