Donald Trump’s MODAAK Is The Newest Marvel Villain

Meet the new villain of the Marvel universe – MODAAK. – Mental Organism Designed As America’s King.

The Villainous character is based on a character created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee in 1967’s Tale of Suspense #93.

Average technician George Tarleton found his fate forever changed thanks to a random selection by his boss, the Scientist Supreme of A.I.M., who needed a unique, bio-engineered “living computer” in order to plumb the mysteries of the Cosmic Cube. Tarleton was subjected to hideous experiments, mutating his body into a massive-headed being possessing superhuman intelligence and extraordinary psionic powers, and the process drove him mad. Given the code-name MODOC (“Mobile Organism Designed Only for Computing”), Tarleton instead turned on his superiors, slaying them all and declaring himself Scientist Supreme. Moreover, he changed his name to MODOK, with the “K” standing now for “Killing.”

The new incarnation of the character appears this week in Spider-Gwen Annual #1, as a take on the original MODOK. We should note that the villain is well known for his gigantic cranium and tiny hands. That is something real Trump has been made well aware of in his run for presidency as the Republican nominee.

At one point MODAAK screams “back on your feet, foreign filth” before ultimately taking a beating from a female Captain America while gasping “Must make America …”

The issue is based on an alternate universe, where Gwen Stacy is bitten by the same type of radioactive spider that bit Peter Parker, and becomes Spider-Woman. Captain America is also a woman in this world, with An aged Steve Rogers narrating the story –

“It’s a weird new world out there, Cap… Full of enemies that look and think and act too much like the demons in my mirror. The monsters men like me have never been able to defeat alone. This nations’ anger and greed and fear are still very real.”

Jason Latour is the creator of the issue, designed as a parody that features several short stories. The Issue is drawn by Chris Visions and colored by Jim Campbell.

If you want to get your hands on the story, you can find it at Comixology.

Is Hillary also going to get a character in the Marvel Universe? What do you think of the idea of having Donald Trump as a Marvel villain? Share in the comments!
