Legendary Pokemon GO Pokemon Will Only Appear With Worldwide Release

Rumors of Legendary Pokemon GO Pokemon were abound yesterday, after social media figure Phil DeFranco posted a non-cited tweet on the matter.

The Legendary Pokemon GO Pokemon post by Phil can be seen below –

Needless to say, it sent the internet into a frenzy. Unfortunately, the post turned out to be just a rumor, since no actual legendary Pokemon was spotted at the event.

Elaborating further on the matter was CEO of developer Niantic Labs, John Hanke, saying that legendary Pokemon are to appear after the game’s worldwide release.

Current regions that have received an official roll-out of the app are United States, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Europe. A full worldwide release is expected by August, after the servers stabilize from the huge strain they were under, and the issues caused by that load.
